IC RULEBOOK

Located in the center of the small enclave is a sign with the word RULES painted at the top. All of the rules are painted on this sign for everyone to see, but nobody has their own personal copy. Strangely, the handwriting seems to vary slightly from rule to rule.

GENERAL

Everyone is assigned a place to sleep. You get one key. Do not lose it.

You will be responsible for your personal items. Theft between participants is a personal matter and must be resolved between participants, not the Chief.

Thursday nights will have a curfew. The front door of your hut will be locked at 9 PM. It is up to you to be where you belong when this happens.

The island functions on a two strike system.

Please do not destroy the island.

Participation in the game is mandatory.

MURDERS

At least one person will be killed each week. This is mandatory.

Don’t be an idiot. Don’t cause your own death.

Please be aware that your messes will not be cleaned.

Please do not kill without consulting the Chief first.

Murders only happen Thursday nights. Don’t bother me about it.

Sometimes I'm busy so fuck off and wait your turn.

TRIALS

Be at the trial. Vote. Don't vote for yourself. No protest votes, morons.

Please vote for someone to execute the criminal following the trial.

All votes are final. Don’t bitch.

If you vote wrong, you don’t get to know who actually did it. If you kill a role, I’ll tell you.

ROLES

Some people have assigned roles within the game. Do not reveal it.

If someone’s role gets revealed, deal with it yourselves. Like adults.

PARTNERS

You all have a partner. You should know by now who they are, but you’re living with them.

If your partner dies, you also die. Your death will come the following Sunday.

If your partner is voted off in a trial, you will also die with them at the Execution.

That’s it, that’s all you get. Hopefully it doesn’t rain and wash away the rules at any point.
