The trick to team games, as this role will be informed, is that if one person dies, the other dies as well. It's a whim of fate whether or not you and your partner both survive... unless this role decides otherwise.
The Waylayer will be able to temporarily render a partnership moot for one week. Nobody else will know whether or not this has been done -- but if one person of the partnership dies after it has been broken, the other will not automatically be killed.
GENERAL
Each week, this role will be able to choose one partnership to sever their connection of. Thus, if one of those participants are killed, the other will be safe from being killed as well.
The Waylayer may sever their own partnership as well.
This partnership breaking will last only for the week, at which point the Waylayer will have to choose a new partnership to break.
The same partnership cannot be chosen two weeks in a row.
