The message somehow ends up showing up in a bottle washed up against the shore actually. Which is a pretty weird way to deliver a message but of course, it's thematic. Naturally, it'll only show up when nobody else is around. When walking along the beach, Fie and Vriska will find that bottle right there, waiting for them.
The message Fie and Vriska receives is short and simple:
Need you for something. Come see me this evening. You'll know where to go.
- Hal
P.S. Put the note back in the bottle. Throw it back. I'll know if you don't.
And that's it. Of course, if they choose to listen to their messages, they'll find a mysterious path in the jungle. They'll find the path as if guided to it, even though it won't be there if they try to show it to someone else later. And at the end of the path, they'll find a small hut, tucked against the jungle backdrop and the two Chiefs standing in front of it. Hal greets them with a flat look and a greeting:
Sirens.
And then he holds out two small notebooks, weather-worn and a little salty. Looks like they've been chosen for one of those roles that were mentioned. Good luck.
Not that I think you're really going to be cooperative, but are you willing to give us a little more information behind this game and the conditions for ending it than you were before?
In my defense, I actually didn't know some of that. Like, the shit about dreams or whatever? News to me, though it makes sense. I knew all the win conditions and the fact that the spirit was a big fat lie, though. Sorry! Maybe next time you should consider asking for my help if you can't figure things out on your own?
I thought about it. But after how many times you kind of made yourself look really suspicious, I figured your brand of help might just give me a headache.
I might be really suspicious, but I also have a posse of loyal defenders falling at my feet! It's great. Those gullible assholes would keep me alive even if I stabbed someone to death right in front of them. You should really try taking more risks like me, Fie. It can really pay off!
She somehow discovered my identity. I don't know how. Someone must have let it slip? You can't trust fucking anybody on this island! The real point is I've got a few days at most before she tries to put a bullet in my head.
I thought the only one who knew about us was Bellamy.
[ and she is actually not that trusting that he didn't go and blab names now that he knows all of them, but that's Fie for you. She trusted him with Raven-- the others, not so much. ]
Yes. I told him who I was when he confronted me about having a different role. I thought I could trust him! Clearly I was mistaken. [ bitterly. ] I know he was sneaking around behind my back to find you, so a betrayal of this nature doesn't really shock me. He's not as wholesome as he appears, huh? Haha!
[ yikes. ]
Anyway, I assume he told Prussia about me. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know about you, though, so you should still be safe.
I know, right? Haha. We started dropping like flies! The suckiest, most pathetic little flies, Fie. It really does not surprise me that the two of us are the only ones left alive.
[ a beat. ]
Actually, that's a lie. I am really surprised I'm still alive. Like, how stupid are these people? Zuko literally laid it out for them, in detail!, and they still didn't kill me. Incredible. But anyway, you'll be the last one standing, so have fun with that after the village finally gets their shit together and executes me at the trial. I hope someone decides to shoot me in the head like Neku did. That would be hysterical.
[ gallows humor! or ... you know, something like that. ]

Yeah, sure. I can tell you all of them right now, if you want.

Someone willingly sacrifices themselves to the volcano, the game ends.
Everyone dies, the game ends.
You get it down to seven players, the game ends.

A lot of these depend on death.
Why seven, though?

So that whole thing about us killing to keep the volcano from killing everyone was a lie, then.

I have a target in mind, as long as you're cool with it, Fie. I'd like to take out Prussia.

Lief.

As long as you're sure! I wouldn't mind being able to keep the heat off during the trial after what happened last week.
