The message somehow ends up showing up in a bottle washed up against the shore actually. Which is a pretty weird way to deliver a message but of course, it's thematic. Naturally, it'll only show up when nobody else is around. When walking along the beach, Prussia will find that bottle right there, waiting for them.
The message Prussia receives is short and simple:
Need you for something. Come see me this evening. You'll know where to go.
- Hal
P.S. Put the note back in the bottle. Throw it back. I'll know if you don't.
And that's it. Of course, if they choose to listen to their message, they'll find a mysterious path in the jungle. They'll find the path as if guided to it, even though it won't be there if they try to show it to someone else later. And at the end of the path, they'll find a small hut, tucked against the jungle backdrop and the two Chiefs standing in front of it. Hal greets them with a flat look and a greeting:
Waylayer.
And then he holds out a small notebook, weather-worn and a little salty. Looks like they've been chosen for one of those roles that were mentioned. Good luck.
And a pencil! I won't be fooled by you guys and your stupid rules and shit.
[She crosses her arms and taps one foot impatiently against the ground. Wow she's smart. What's the point of an awesome diary if she can't write in it??]
I want it in my hut by the time I get back tonight, just like what you did with the clothes.
Anyway I know why you guys would want someone cool like me in your stupid game, but what's with the prissy aristocrat?

An awesome diary for doing this.
If that's what ya want. Sure. You gotta work extra hard though.
[ Why not. ]

[ A true negotiator, that Prussia. ]
S'just luck of the draw, that's all. Not like we picked anyone in particular for this sort of thing. She just ended up coming along.

[She purses her lips and blows a raspberry.]
She's boring. Bet she won't even try to kill anyone!! Just try to marry them all.
[Pause.]
Who owns this island, anyway?

[ Seriously, you nations and your weird obsessions. ]
And nobody gets sent home 'till the game's through. You do your job well, she'll be out of your hair faster.

So how many other assholes you calling in for these meetings, anyway? We're gonna be trippin' all over ourselves in the dark if you keep this up.
